During the last couple of weeks I had some time on hand to explore some abandoned places in and around Berlin. I never thought it would be so appealing to me to crawl through dusty and rusty basements in order to get access to even remote places. But the atmosphere keeps pushing me to my limits. Not only I am really easily scared of random noises, the spiders do their part as well.
Anyway, I might shift the orientation of my deviation a bit from travel pictures mainly from China to Urban exploration related content. I hope you still enjoy it =)

In the middle of my examination phase I have an even more important mission. My Chinese friends want me to recite a Chinese Poem. They know my Chinese is so poor that I will put the German way of reciting a poem into it; changing tones, speed and all that stuff (so they can laugh at me of course) :D
So I picked I serious hard one for me:

Hello,I'm a Chinese and I live in Beijing. You are really interested in China. What do you like best about China?

Not easy to answer. The pure size and diversity created a big fascination. When I lived in Beijing I got a very warm welcome from my colleagues and I found friends all over China. I was always interested in traditional things, such as arts, language, behaviour and so on. And I always got positive feedback for my wish to watch "behind" the things; not only being a foreigner and a tourist. I loved to make jiaozi with the families I visited and play cards or even try to play erhu. Actually it is everything - too much to tell in a short message.
Since I am from Berlin and Change was always a part of my live, I can feel a similar vibe in China, with all it positive and negative aspects. Hope this gives you an impression ^_^
